dont forget the drops in the Jets game . Also Digs dropped a pass and allowed bradberry to pick it while they were in scoring range. We've been oddly extra lucky with opponent drops this season. Maybe its some sort of karmic reblanacing after Ginn dropped all that poo over the last 2 years and Funchess /Benji dropping so many in 2014, 2015. And that we've just had poor WR corps in the entirety of Cam's career

There are plenty more

Apparently this kid is borderline retarded.

Like he doesn’t know how to buy groceries. One scout was saying he had a panic attack at a grocery store.

Sounds like Kwame Brown syndrome. All the physical talent in the world, just none of the real world life experience. The obvious difference being that Kwame was fresh out of HS while Apple spent three years at Ohio State. He should've been much more prepared to be out in the real world on his own.

  • 2 weeks later...

Id be willing to dangle a 5th as bait for him

Dude has talent

Giants suspended him this last game, so doubt he's back next year.

Read some stuff, kid has a Lot of personal stuff going on off the field.   Now I feel our locker room would be much better for the kid than the Giants.  Being surrounded by TD, Luke, Cam, Rivera.  Guys like that have created a family like locker room, and for a kid that has some of the stuff he has going on out of his hands off the field; this would be possibly the best fit for him of any team in the league.

Giants could take the 5th, he is gone from there this offseason.

Hard pass

He's the one who leaked all the infighting stuff to the media.

He refuses help from vets and can't take coaching

Being suspended for refusing to take reps in practice and fighting with a coach.

Mother is a helicopter parent that won't cut the cord

Landon Collins straight up called him a cancer. It isn't even a clickbaity out of context statement, the leader of their defense straight up called him a cancer

No thank you.

Collins also apologized for that comment he made to.

Collins backtracked on those comments

Mom is a headcase and a lot of the stuff you read, theres a ton of off the field stiff of going on thats imo has caused him to lose focus.  And the losing, coaching stuff, etc that going on there in NY is just seeping into the crack and him being mental8ng weak niw and making it worse. The refusing help in practice could be him just being lost with the off the field stuff with his mom. Heck saw here this week his mom just divorced his dad after having a affair with a best man from the wedding.

You get Cam, TD, and Rivera in there as fayher figures in the locker room.  I think he has some hope.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
