You're comparing a close loss or win to another Superbowl Caliber team to a close loss or win where we blew a lead to a team like the 2017 Chicago Bears.

We blew a big lead to the 2017 bears?

What I am pointing out is the belief of a close win is pathetic in your eyes, but if we win the a close game in the super bowl, its okay?

It's this inconsistency that makes your argument null. If you truly believe that we are a bad team because we blow leads... then this thought should carry all the way to the end, no matter what the caliber of the game is.

I have a feeling you would change your tune if we won the super bowl. It sucks that it takes that for you to understand its the L or W that matters, and not the variance of score.

Lol, it is. I’m not pessimistic at all, but I sure as fug get anxious. You may say someone stepped up, but we’ve also had way more luck. Do you think Julio drops another one like that if we meet again or more likely Jeffery? 2016 happened if you want a story in how you can lose a lot of close games.

Anyway, can’t have a discussion with a black and white guy so I’ll stop with this post. Last thing I want to be proven right about is us losing a lead in the playoffs. I hope I can come back in here after the SB and say you were right that our style of coaching is perfect. I just know how 1 single play can change the outcome. I’ll throw out one more IF. If Gano from 2017 was our kicker last year we are easily 10-6. Do you think our 2016 team was nearly as good as our 2017 10-4 team? I don’t and that’s why I hate giving other teams an opportunity to come back like we do because while we are winning the close games. 2016 wasn’t that long ago and should serve as a reminder about how one play loses a lot of games. I hope we don’t keep letting the playoff games come down to a play if we’ve got a solid lead.

There is no luck in football, other than the coin toss and the bounce of the ball. Someone not making a catch has nothing to do with luck, they didn't do their job. By definition Julio Jones missing that catch was his own action. Not Luck.

Luck: success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.

If we follow the trend... The Carolina Panthers win close football games.

Exactly.  We didn't even have a chance to lose a big lead against a team we should have, in Ron Rivera's words, "dragged through the gravel".

A close win against a team we should have easily beaten in the regular season vs a close win in the Superbowl?  Your correlation is heavily flawed and I'm starting to think you might have a learning disability.

Well we've beat the Viking, Patriots and Packers with Rodgers this season sooooo

The Vikings beat themselves. Don't fool yourself.  The Pats and Packers pretty much did, too.  Same way we beat ourselves against Philly.  Some of you need to take the rose colored glasses off and see that there is an issue with this franchise and not being prepared to play a full 60 minutes.

You have given 1 example in 5 fugging years and yet we are all idiots. We went 15-1 two seasons ago and made it to the big dance. We beat the number 1 team in the AFC this season, one of the best teams in the NFC this season and just beat who many claim in the best QB last week. Your response?

"take off the rose colored glasses, we are barely getting by teams and will get wrecked in the playoffs"

maybe it's got nothing to do with rose colored glasses. Maybe you just like to be pissed off for no reason. We have a great records this season and are going back to the playoffs. We've done most of it without Cams favorite target. Get over it already.

If 1 example is all you have in 5 years then it isn't the panthers that have a problem. It's you that has the problem

Yeah we beat the Patriots and got our poo pushed in by the Bears and Saints. I can see why you're such an optimist, Pollyanna.

If any team in the league "beat themselves" it was us against the bears giving up two TDs to their defense when in scoring position.

The only team in the league that has dominated us is the Saints.

we are 10-4. You are not gaining ground with your negative assessments backed with little evidence supporting it
