Happy with the win, but our coaches were completely unprepared today

Glad we pulled it out, that's what winners do.  But I think our coaches slept walk through this week.  I think we have a good coaching staff, 4 playoff appearances in 5 years should prove that. But they just weren't ready this week. There seemed to be no game plan on either side of the ball, I don't think it'll happen again but man that was frustrating.

Coaches were unprepared but our offense in general was just out of sync. Funch had one catch, Olsen had maybe 3 or 4. Our big playmaker in Byrd went down with what looks like a bad injury and our O-line couldn't hardly run block to save their lives. You can put a lot on the coaching but hell, we were throwing to a banged up Funch and a bunch of no name receivers.

At least our “no name receivers” did their job today. Clay and Bersin were major contributors in the 2nd half. I could see these guys being solid performers if they were given more playing time and utilized to fit their skill sets.

When the Panthers struggle to win-The coaches weren't prepared

When the Patriots struggle to win-The coaches had it all planned out they were just playing with their food

LOL I guess when they're an experienced championship team the same rules don't apply to them

If I am reading this correctly.... you are attracted to this poster? As if you are hoping he/she is of legal age?

Otherwise im not sure why you would be such a loser with this post.

Using RR and BB in the same sentence, or conversation, cannot be done, unless you are speaking in terms of contrast, opposites, a "180," antithesis, etc. But, yeah, the same rules may not always apply to a perennial champion who adapts in a nanosecond to implement changes required to succeed, immediately and long-term, to one who stubbornly sticks to a philosophy with which, the only resulting consistent result is...inconsistency.

TLDR: There's Belichick, and then, there's everyone else. Deal with it.

You are not reading it correctly. Which is no surprise, it's the Huddle after-all. We'll bring back the 4th grade reading level requirements soon I think.

ah, okay. So we are both losers?

No, that's not what that means. Where is that 4th grade reading level entrance exam to sign up? can't get here soon enough.

I'm just kidding that's def what that means. Now Imma go get fat off snacks.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
