Uhh why would any Panthers fan ever root for the Falcons to win here? If they win not only does a team we all fuging hate win but also if we win we'd then have to go to MN instead of Philly.

I think the OP may be a little confused. The NFL playoffs are not a set bracket like the NCAA Tournament.

It's seed based. If both the Falcons and Panthers win, Carolina is headed to Minnesota. If the Panthers and Rams win, Carolina is headed to Philly.

what we did today may have set the course for a Falcons-Saints nfccg 

if the falcons beat the rams, they will definitely beat Philly. 

New Orleans is the best team on the NFC side and should have little problem with us and should outscore Minnesota and Case Keenum. 

The worst possible scenario unfolded today with us, the saints and the rams losing. That worse case scenario could lead into an even worse case scenario if the falcons and saints were to play in the nfccg.

It’s all about the ring and playing a home game would help tremendously, even against those guys.  Beating them in BOA to go to the Super Bowl would be epic.

Falcons. Facing them is our only chance at a home playoff game. If we both win, then both win the divisional round, we host them for the NFCCG.
