Might wanna enjoy Norwell while you can. Voth thinks someone else will be writing his paychecks next year.

Said it last week....Norwell is as good as gone now that DG is in the league again...and they need O Line help in the worst way.

We'll see... I really hope not. Norwell did not allow one single hit on Cam all year. And he's our best run blocker by far. If you don't pay a guy like him then who the hell do you pay? If DG was here he would've broken his own rule and extended Norwell during the season, that's how damn good he's been.

Keep in mind this is the "PFF" version of the NFL All-Pro team...not the official version. I questioned it when I saw Matt Ryan as 2nd team QB and Dion Lewis as 2nd team RB...stopped from there. The official All-Pro team is much more prestigious and isn't decided by fans like the Pro Bowl.

    • Bryce and Dave will determine how many games this team wins next year. It’s not on the WRs. The RBs. LBs. This is about 2 things: 1. Can Bryce continue to come up big in the few key downs that decide most games?  2. Can Canales evolve his play calling to counter punch like the big boys do. Half time adjustments.  teams that score 30+ points on the regular win more games than not. That’s on Bryce and Dave. The offense is top 10 at every position group, save for TE and QB. A baller TE is gravy but not crucial when the receivers are dudes.  The defense is the defense. It’ll be better this season, hopefully by a large margin, but Dave/Bryce is really where it’s at.
    • Normally I'd wholeheartedly agree with this. But I feel like teams figured out this offense after the Raiders game. Bryce was so inept the first 2 games that we couldn't really even run the offense. Dalton's first game showed what we had. But after that game, coverages got a lot tighter and windows were smaller. When Bryce came back in, his ability to extend plays made a big difference. It's really difficult to stop a QB that can beat/escape 1on1 tacklers. It puts a lot of pressure on the defense when you blitz. And he was completing throws in tight coverage with anticipation. Point being Bryce wasn't throwing to wide open receivers that were schemed open by the offense. Occasionally yes. But not often.
    • With the additions we've made to our roster combined with the state of the division and the conference as a whole there is no excuse for this team not to make a legitimate push for 8-9 wins. Anything less is honestly inexcusable. There will be no more free passes for being a doormat in this iteration of the league where even mediocre teams are competing for playoff spots.
