Hypothetical trade

5th rounder or less only. However, it's not happening. Until we have new ownership in place, guys like Bryant, Gordon, etc. will continue to not be options. Also, Steelers aren't going to trade him. He'll play out the year and then walk in FA.

A fifth won't get it done.

They just may trade him.  I think the thought crossed their mind this season. If a divorce is imminent,  which I believe it is,  they may decide to explore their options. Historically,  they really haven't shown any tolerance for negativity within their ranks.

If a 5th wouldn't get it done (which you're right it probably wouldn't), then I personally would pass because I don't think the value is there for anything more.

We'll see, but they could've traded him this year and rode it out and it seems likely they won't cave in to one player's demands.

    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
    • No We have been making excuses for him for 3 years, and we have gave him a hundred chances  Bryce is a bust, and we need to cut him now and stop wasting everyone's time
