We're stuck with Captain's contract for another season. Can't afford two highly paid nickelbacks. Captain and Corn will battle it out at nickel.

Are we? He and Rivera really seemed to have a falling out last year.

That said, I haven't looked at what his cap figure would be if he were cut.

We will get johnny Adams from the bengals practice squad and we will hype him up all training camp as the next josh Norman for him to be a bum . We don't do free agency . I'll gaurentee we won't make the playoffs next year

might be surprised to see how good captain actually is when everyone realizes a large part of our secondary problems came from wilks mismanaging their talents.

whether washington corrects the issue remains to be seen.

i'd give munnerlyn another year.

I'm not ready to completely give up on him, but damn he was bad last year.

I honestly think a good young safety is arguably our biggest need. A safety with some range would do wonders for our CBs.

I'm not convinced of that.

I still see the biggest issue as the secondary going from being coached directly by Wilks to being coached by Curtis Fuller and Richard Rodgers.

The one thing I'll concede on that front though is that we have been concentrating on zone corners as far as our personnel, and Wilks used more man coverage than McDermott did.

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
