Stop saying "oh we'll just draft so and so" to ease your insecurities. This is a must and will come cheaper than anyone else at this point and adds the much needed speed. i created a thread on this a week ago.

I'm not necessarily saying he's done,  but this is what Chris Wesseling had to say:

"Battling shoulder, back, knee and concussion injuries, Maclin was one of the league's least productive starting wide receivers last year, managing just 440 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games. After burning Cincinnati's secondary for a 48-yard touchdown in the season opener, Maclin recorded just two games over 50 yards in the next four months. No longer a threat with the ball in his hands, he hasn't compensated by reliably beating cornerbacks at the catch point."

That being said,  I could see kicking the tires on him with the vet minimum, or perhaps a little more with "nothing" guaranteed.  But it's telling that a team that is WR needy would pick Ryan Grant over the one-time playmaker.

Who was his QB again? Flacco and someone worse than Flacco. Same reason Wallace is out. Bring him here.

    • I may be way off base, let’s include this in that questions thread, but with the way the offensive staff turned on each other in 2023 I am happy to see anyone involved, gone. I had a bad feeling about Caldwell over it.
    • No poo tho you might could Jenkins for Legette. They got nothing at WR after the big 2 in Cincy. I don’t think you trade away OL depth. Could get a quality player in cuts. Really that 3-4 end spot what you should be looking for is someone who is stout with long arms and can push back the OL in both the run and pass game for others to make plays…. But we signed Wharton, sometimes I think Evero is a fraud ass nerd who should be an analyst at best.
    • you would honestly probably do Monroe Freeling more of a disservice by putting him in a position where is not yet ready to succeed. .we all knew Monroe Freeling struggled at the NFL combine in drills because of technique related issues & would need time to develop  & now all of a sudden before they even put the pads on Monroe Freeling is somehow a starting LT in the NFL ? if he struggled at the NFL scouting combine what do you actually think is going to happen in a live NFL game at LT ? .even our best LT of all time was not ready to start at LT when he was a rookie & he turned out to be a pretty good darn LT by the name of Jordan Gross ...just saying be patient Young Jedis
