Yep. Source said this was an agreement and so should wrap up deal and make things official in the next 24 hours barring any snags, which is why you don’t see an official announcement from team just yet for those w questions. Good thing it didn’t snow in Charlotte today?

You'll love him this year if we win it all and we'll all be cursing him again in 2 years when we have no cap space and probably suck. Hopefully our new GM can draft well early on, because he'll need to for us to stay competitive.

If we win it all, I'll never say a bad word about hurney again

None of the 1st round picks rode the pine. Star, CMC and KB were starters from day 1. Shaq played 2/3 of all snaps last year and Butler played 1/3. One pick in 5 years, Butler, isn’t a starter. I’m sure you don’t like DG, but I think Butler will play well this year. People cry about the Henry’s but geez. Hunter was 10th in TE yards with only 579 and there were another 7 TEs with 50 yards of him. The incomparable Ebron had 5 less yards. Derrick had a nice 1st playoff game but he had 744 yards and a 4.2 ypc average. Murray in 2016 was way better than that behind a great OL. People in here whine about these guys like they are all pros.

Yeah, that's riding the pine. If you're not a starter, that's riding the pine. I'm not going to argue semantics.

Also, Hurney traded for Greg Olsen, he didn't draft him. And if you look at the second round picks both of those years you'll find so many starters your head will spin. Hurney didn't have problems finding starters in the late first round, and we all know how good his talent evaluation skills are.

How can the Panthers afford this with the cap issues?
