Verge's mock draft

I think their is going to be an emphasis on offense in this draft, guys who can be molded to the roles Norv needs for the offense to grow around Cam Newton.

R1 24: Hayden Hurst, TE, SC
Looks very much like Greg, but a bit more versatile, will be a jack in our offense, and we will see a lot of 2 te sets this year with Hurst.

R2 55: Justin Reid, S, STA
A very rangey FS with top end speed. We need safeties and he makes sense. Could very easily see Jessie Bates here as well.

R3 85(could trade up for him): Rashaad Penny, RB, SDST
Multi tool back built like a bowling ball, would be awesome in between the tackles, and can pair with McCaffrey with pass catching.

R3 88: DaeSean Hamilton, WR, PST
Smooth route runner with enough speed for seperation, really round out our receiver core.

R5 161: Jaylyn Holmes, DE, OHST
Solid defensive end depth that can turn into a true starter.

R6 197: Levi Wallace, CB, ALA
Long armed corner that can play zone and has excellent ball skills.

I love this draft. I really don't see the problem with his age. I think he is going to be awesome in our offense with Greg. I feel like Cam's best year is when we had Shockey and Olsen. The rest of the picks love even more. Would love this draft!

Yeah, I could see that. Hurney basically filled holes on D in free agency so he would be able to focus on offense during draft weekend.

If I felt like DJ Moore would get to us, I would think that might be the pick as well.

So what are you hearing if Moore is there he is the pick but if he isn't then Hurst is the pick. What are they saying they like about Hurst so much?
