Person's article pointed out that although Bloomberg had reported that Michael Rubin dropped out of the bidding when it hit 2.5 billion, sources told the Observer that Rubin was still interested at the right price 

Voth's piece is pretty complimentary, but I suppose if I was writing my first article about the new boss, I'd say a lot of good things too (not to question Voth, just sayin').

Would there be rules against us playing in Death Valley once or twice a year as home games?

Death Valley was fine before we had a stadium. Lord knows I drove down there.  But its a royal pain in the ass and the stadium sucks compared to ours.  Maybe play a preseason game or something down there for those fans, but that's about it.

I think it would be easier to get away with in the preseason. Regular season might be tought. That would effect psl owners and I would imagine they would need their team to do some analysis on loss of sales or concessions and all that. 

Every game the Panthers wouldn’t be at BOA would lose Charlotte money.

I like the idea though. Would love to hit the beach on a weekend and hit a Panthers game.

Seems to me that he chose “logically” as to say, “of course it makes sense to keep the stadium in Charlotte, but...” so he could justify dropping a dome on some land in SC. Just speculation at this point of course.

Of course Charlotte is the logical location. It’s the largest city in the Carolinas and it’s right on the NC/SC border. That’s like saying Cam Newton is the logical starting QB. Well no poo.
