Only 4 teams have more wins than the Panthers in the past 5 years.

You can't overlook that we aren't a team to be pushed around and most teams don't like seeing us on their calendar.

I wouldn't go that far yet, at least not in even years.

When we can so that consistently, then we can talk.

Yes and No.  As long as we have Cam and Luke you know teams hate to see the Panthers on the schedule.

IMO they are going to really hate it with Norv at the helm.   I will be shocked if we aren't in the top 10 offensively (I was gonna say top 5)

Maybe.

I'm still waiting to see how it all clicks.

KC's win total was somewhat surprising to me as well.

KC: 53-27

CAR: 51-28-1

Overall records are so so close over the last 5 seasons.....but all 5 of KC's seasons have been winning seasons.  We somehow still haven't managed back to back winning seasons yet, much less 5 :eyeroll:

Wasn't Haley fired within that span?

Reid hasn't been there for four years yet, has he?

Andy Reid for ya.

Dude is a great coach...during the regular season.  His offenses often get bottled up during the playoffs, and his clock management skills, much like Rivera, are pretty bad for a coach this long in the tooth.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
