Trai Turner & Daryl Williams - are these two pound for pound for the best draft picks of The Gettleman era?

I know there were a ton of bad pixks, but these two selections look great.

Seeing where they were picked yes they were

Kelvin Benjamin was solid for us before his knee exploded
Shaq Thompson is now sliding in to take over for TD (which was the reason he was drafted)
Kawann Short is a BEAST.
Star Lotulelei was a solid NT while he was with the team.
AJ Klein and David Mayo were phenomenal late round depth picks (with AJ going on to start in NO).
Bene looked like our solution at nickel until we cut JNo and forced him to cover Julio despite not being completely recovered from a broken leg.
Funchess is our current #1 WR.
Bradberry is one of our starting CBs.
CMC is a beast.
Curtis Samuel looking like he might be the real deal.
Taylor Moton looking like he'll be a solid OL contributor.
Armah about to be our starting FB.
Butker killed it last season in KC.
Corn Elder and Daeshon Hall both looked decent but had injuries their first year.

Kugbila couldn't get on the field.
Barner has bounced around the league.
We got one good SB out of Kony before trading him.
Tre Boston somehow made it work in San Diego but I still think he was booboo.
Worley was bad.
Gaffney was poached though hasn't amounted to much.
I'm not impressed with CAP but some folks here think that he can get it done.
Sandland was a 7th round shot at TE depth.

Jury is still out on Butler.

Of all of the picks so far, I'm leaning towards Kawann Short and Trai Turner being our best p4p.

Yeah KK Short is probably his best overall pick, followed by Turner and Williams IMO.

I have no problems paying D. Williams, however would our line have been better paying Norwell that money and letting Moton take over at RT?

I hear where you are coming from. Losing Norwell was a yuge loss. But the thing is, RT is a more important position. And Daryl is on the verge of being elite himself. So if you only get to keep one, I would prefer he be a RT.

We have 4 players who are, or have been, All Pro/Pro Bowlers. If we get solid play from LG, we can have one of the best lines we have ever had.

The potential is there for this to be one of the best teams we have ever fielded. And man, that should get everyones giddy up.

Excellent post! I do believe the front office felt more confident in plugging and playing a guy at LG moreso than a guy at RT.
