Meyer will be coaching the Tar Heels next season once Fedora is fired.

I hate that he's a POS but god damn Id take him as the UNC football coach in a heartbeat. Fedora depresses me, I haven't kept up with UNC football AT ALL this season, probably couldn't tell you a single player on their roster now that all of Butch's boy's have come and gone.

Don’t think this has anything to do with winning games. The guy accused of domestic violence is the grandson of Earle Bruce, a former Buckeye coach. Probably why Urban kept his mouth shut

That's definitely possible.

I’m kidding around. If Meyer is fired he will prob have to sit for a year or so and let things cool off before he gets another job. He isn’t Art Briles, he will get another job.

if Fedora can’t muster up the 7-8 wins this year that it will take to probably save his job- my money is Les Miles or PJ Fleck as the next coach at UNC. Carolina hired a shady coach a couple years ago and that obviously blew up in their face so I doubt they will bring in anyone with in red flags once Fedora is rightfully let go.

Butch Davis was the right guy for the job. I hated when all that went down.

As far as UNC football goes, I'm still pissed we only got one season out of far and away the best QB to ever step foot on campus. I loved Marquis Williams but there's no way he should've been playing over the future #2 overall pick. A lot of fans think Trubisky will help our QB recruiting. Honestly, I think he may be more likely to hurt it. If I'm an opposing coach recruiting against UNC for a QB I'm telling that kid, "UNC? Really? They wouldn't know QB talent if it bit them in the ass. They let a #2 overall NFL draft pick waste away on the bench for two years behind a guy who can't even make it as a backup in the CFL.'

In actual NFL news, Jonathan Cyprien tore his ACL. I know a lot of us wanted him here. That sucks.

And they’ve got visits lined up with the top 3 remaining safeties:

Vaccarro

Reid

Mitchell

More than a few folks want(ed) one of the guys above.

You know, I was torn when Trubisky was at UNC. I think we saw flashes (probably because he never got in a rhythm because of 2 QB sets) but I never felt like “wow, he’s the guy.” Not that Williams was some great talent but I guess I just didn’t see enough of him to convince me that he would have been the #2 overall pick. Pulling for him though, of course except against the Panthers.

He was as accurate of a passer as any I've seen at the college level and he was just as good on the move as he was set in the pocket. He also almost always delivered in critical situations. Dude was a stud.

He didn't look great as a rookie, but then again it's hard to look great as a QB in a John Fox strangled run first, run second, pass as a last resort offense. Surely knowing that they were taking a QB, I don't know why they didn't fire Fox prior to last season. You don't draft a QB high in the first round to play Fox ball.
