Yeah, I'd much rather have a soon to be 25 year old rookie backup TE as opposed to our pick of the entire 2018 WR class.

Oh wait, no. No I absolutely wouldn't. I'll take Moore + Thomas > Hurst all day everday and 27 times on Sunday.

He actually didn't look that good.  You can point to the touchdown, but he wasn't getting much separation at all, and against 2's and 3's that is a REALLY bad sign

I loved Hurst coming out but not over the top WR picks.

Didnt show in the stat line but Hurst made a really nice contested catch on a slant pattern. Think it got called back for a WR illegal formation near the line of scrimmage.

 

He was out wide 1on1 with a corner.

I dont think anyone was ever doubting HHs ability, just his age and the fact that he's going to be 28-29 when hes looking for his first real contract .
