Re-watching the game

Is it just me or does Cam seem to play at a higher level when it’s the Pats on the other side..

Crossing my fingers and anything else that can be crossed in hope that Ron will watch the tape and see that Kalil is not the best option at LT/or Amini at LG

Like night and day between a Shula led offense vs a Turner offense

There does seem to be an element of that, but certainly it wasn't true in our 2016 week 3 preseason game against them.  Cam and our 1st team on both sides of the ball were asleep and seemed totally unprepared that night. It was an early warning sign of our Superbowl hangover...

I can't think of much in this world that is more dorky than re-watching a preseason game. Almost as inane as Mac from WFNZ talking about preseason performance endlessly, about watching other NFC teams preseason games, too, as if it means anything at all.

Get it through your heads.

PRESEASON HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL GAMES.

CMC is running hard, almost like he heard the can't break tackles talk or not a RB talk and said I'm going to prove a lot of mofo's wrong

Moore have to get better at handling physicality within 5 yards

First unit looked good, but couldn't score TD's and had to settle for FG's and wasted TO's. Please let's limit this, this year

Samuel/Funch might be a problem for secondaries this year, just maybe. Samuel is so shifty, it's not funny

I feel Panthers fans underestimate CAP/Byrd abilities as a RB and WR

I hope Corn takes some of Captain snaps this season

Our secondary coverage worries me against Brees. Let's hope Brees age shows this year

I havent seen Butler this pre-season, not once

Belichick was right, Pats didn't look good

preseason

that left side of oline looks very good.  Moton looks great

it does remain to be seen if they can handle blitz and exotic schemes. Pats were pretty vanilla Friday night

Your point is valid, Remmers looked pretty good until Denver got tricky in the SB. But I think Moton has the brains and shiftiness to be at the minimum an upgrade over Kalil. I assume that he and Van Roton will get a decent number of snaps together against the steelers to continue gelling. Every snap the o-line starters get together the better they'll be when it counts.

Preseason Game 3 absolutely is a valid data point for the season....starters play the majority of the game and teams gameplan against each other.

Get it through your head.....you don't have a clue.

I disagree with nothing you said.

Although I wanted to reiterate how much I whole heartedly agree with the above statement. 100%.

    • Such a dumb pick and most of us knew it Ladd would’ve been the perfect match with Bryce But instead they draft XL to fill the void at the X spot because we had a 34 year old Adam Thielen. Then a year later we draft a real X WR and move XL inside where he has absolutely no business being for a list of reasons
    • My logic was hopefully a new HC would have a LOT quicker hook for Bryce. But, that is assuming they would even be allowed. I guess that's a call to the owner's box for permission.
    • I’m not overly defending the pick. I was team Stroud by a country mile but I also knew what to expect as far as ceiling goes with Bryce  I had concerns with Bryce’s arm strength and size. Neither seem to overly be an issue. He’s proven to throw with enough anticipation that he makes up for a lack of velocity. I was worried about the way he played in college not translating to the league. Spending 8 seconds behind LOS. I did also think it would take Young a few years for him to reach his full potential. I also think he’s too smart and accurate to flat out bust which all of seems to be pretty accurate Bryce is someone you can absolutely win with. No one thought he’d be the type to carry a well below average supporting cast to a Super Bowl. He’s fully capable of giving you those 4-5 special plays a game that help your team win. And then you have those rare times where he’s the reason you win like in Atlanta.  All good teams have more than just a QB.  Even the teams that are winning this year all have a lot more than what we have. Supporting cast/defense… more than what we have  As far as Morgan goes I 100% agree. Fwiw he was legit team Bryce during the draft process. I know that for a fact. Last years draft is a complete write off. This past draft still up for debate. TMac and Scourton look solid. I can’t remember the last time I saw Princely win a rep and I’m being honest. Ransom has a little value. I think ETN is a nice insurance add. Evans could be a TE2.    I think this offseason Morgan will get aggressive with trying to land a pass rusher. Whether that’s a trade for Crosby, signing Hendrickson, it’s going to be top priority. We need a ILB. I really like Kaden Ellis. Sonny Styles should be in our draft range. We also need a tight end and it would be interesting to see this offseason with Kenyon Sadiq
