That’s gay.

and no he’s not worth even half that. What a joke

Not worth half that? Lol.

Sammy Watkins just got $16 million a year for what amounts to poo of a career compared to OBJ. Not only is he one of the top receivers in football, he's probably the biggest football star in the world.

Odell deserves every penny.

As far as Sammy Watkins, I personally am very high on him and think he'd be fantastic with Mahomes actually. But even then, to say Odell's not worth his contract is asinine lol.

You can be high on Watkins and still admit OBJ at $19>>>>>>Sammy at $16.

OBJ is a transcendent receiver when on the field.

I was with until that biggest star poo. He’s far from that. He’s not worth the money he got by far, but neither is Sammy, and if Sammy is getting 16, OBJ should get what he got. OBJ is a known bitch boy that will never be a star because nobody real could possibly respect him.

Yeah he's "worth" his contract as long as he can find one team to pay it.  Doesnt mean he will ever do anything to justify making it but that's a different discussion. Seems like a nutjob from what little we know about him so good luck handing him $100 million. That's not going to make it any better. Lol.

Who's bigger, on an international stage? People don't realize how small football is around the world. Ronaldo has 74 million followers on Twitter. Cam has 4 million on IG. So does Brady. OBJ? 11 million.

OBJ is the face of the NFL on an international stage.

All the while dealing with a slightly retarded QB as well. Now every FA is going to want to be paid 25 million to play.

I am fairly certain that how many followers an NFL player has in Czechoslovakia Isn't relevant in terms of how much he gets.  What matters irt pay is does Beckham's contract get them closer to a SB win?  IMO it doesn't, but I suppose we shall see.

Play on the field is most certainly mandatory. However, having one of the biggest stars in the world in your uniform, imo, certainly goes into retaining a player. If OBJ put up his numbers, as well as had his problems, without the worldwide following, is he setting the mark for receivers right now? Maybe, but being arguably the biggest star in football helps in negotiations, I would think.

    • It probably would be. Given that most 6th and 7th rounders aren't NFL game day material except on the Panthers, the pick might improve us slightly with a drafted player, but I'd like to see us actually be able to open up the field. I do think some of our offensive problem stem from defenses aren't afraid of Bryce's arm. They cover a short field and that makes life a lot easier for them.  If it doesn't work though, unless we get rid of the scouting department and whatever drafting algorithm Dave is making us use, it won't really matter anyway.
    • I think the Baker/Darnold thing has been overblown. QBs that struggle with the team that drafts them and go on to find success elsewhere often do end up going to multiple new teams before they figure it out and/or find the right situation. It just so happened that we traded for both guys in back-to-back years and neither player had quite figured it out yet. Baker, I think, needed more time and a better supporting cast. Darnold, I think, benefitted from a year on the bench in San Francisco a ton. I don't really have any ill will towards either of them. I think they both came here with the best intentions after coming from difficult circumstances; unfortunately the Panthers were - and still are, it seems - also in the process of figuring things out.
    • At this point this is all I want from this team. I'm done hoping for wins. I just want to see a competitive team for 4 quarters. Come out of the gate hard and don't give up no matter the score.
