Thomas Davis is making the team, but he can not be on the opening day roster. He won't count towards the original 53 because he'll be suspended. Once he returns in week 6, someone will be released (or sent to IR if we end up having injuries).

Dont recall any 34 being  played. Did notice him being dropped into coverage (which may have came out of the 34?) a few times. He looks as though he could take over in a pinch.

This could be the deepest roster in the Rivera era. It's very possible we could have multiple players get claimed off waivers on Sunday.

Ah, for some reason, I thought suspended players still counted against the 53.  Just checked and they don't. Good call.

People love to say Gilbert has a better arm and makes better decisions,but Hen seems to just have that it factor...he's a gamer and has shown up even if he has less skills to work with. His mobility also pops on on film. He has out played Gilbert which is why he is in the driver's seat.

I think the bigger question is.  Do you keep better talent and stack a group or do you waive good talent and keep guys that will probably never get a jersey for game day?

Personally I would rather keep the best talent and promote from the PS.   

You can stash some decent talent on the PS and elevate them if needed during the season.

Hen is a gamer but the team needs a veteran so I suggest calling the Texans and get Joe Webb back since he's better than either of these no experience guys.
