She's making me nervous, out there churning in the Atlantic. The models keep stringing her closer and closer to an NC landfall.

I'm definitely gonna get the generator ready this weekend and make my rounds around the yard checking out loose/heavy tree limbs...

I'll never forget the near apocalypse Fran brought us. I hope we never have another one of those.

Yeah this one is making me nervous.  Not acting like a regular hurricane. Starting that far north it should be projecting a turn out to the Atlantic. But no steering mechanism to do that yet.

Hopefully that changes in the next few days.  But if you live on the coast better watch this one.

They just shifted 5 day projection a bit south with Charleston being hit directly.

So if it does hook north now, itll smack Wilmington

Looking like Charleston to Wilmington is going to be the sweet spot for this one

Also thing to look out that I was just reading.

The timing and projected landfall date is going to fall on a "new moon"  when the tides are higher than normal.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
