Browns just cut Josh Gordon

There's multiple conflicting reports. I don't think they'd cut him over something so silly though.

Every major outlet has said it was because he was already on thin ice and injured himself outside of practice. Plus no one currently with the Browns has any loyalty ties to Gordon, hell he was drafted two regimes ago

Anyone think that this is their way of trying to stir up interest for a trade?

They have Landry, the fact that they are announcing that it will take place Monday which means they are still paying him for Sunday’s game, and trying to push a team by saying “you want to guarantee you want him?” Since he would be an UDFA if they cut him.

Worse case the browns go “oh well we had a change of heart” after Sunday if you can’t get the trade you want. He’s hurt and wasn’t going to play anyways.

Nah he's done in Cleveland but they definitely have a market for Gordon and they know it.

49ers are probably one of those teams, in the NFC and don't have a lead wr.
