I'm fairly convinced that Byrd and Samuel are able to play and Ron is being "extra cautious" so he can put off them pushing Smith for reps.

Colin Jones starting scares me greatly. Smh. We could not upgrade that spot in the offseason? Might cost Hurney his job if it goes badly this season at that spot.

Colin Jones has actually graded out to be a top15 safety with his limited snaps. 

Great run support and knows where to be for every play call. Gaulden would be an absolute disaster. Does not know how to run support from safety and still caught out of place constantly.

I’d rather  have decoud back there than gaulden.
