The kid isn't injury prone, he's unlucky prone, Byrd is injury prone.

As a Penn State fan who watched Samuel all of his college career I don’t think he is anywhere near as fragile as Byrd.  He took all kinds of hits and bounced right up.  I think besides the hamstring have been just odd fluke things.  I will go out on a limb and say that while his start of his Panthers career hasn’t been stellar we will all forget about that real soon. He is by far our best option at creating separation on the team right now.  And he will have many productive years going forward. 

We really need his speed right now. Hopefully by the end of the season it will be Moore, Samuel, and Wright as our starters.  That would be great going into the post season. 

Funchess has just not impressed so far.
