He didn't do anything honestly. But Jenkins selled colin, Eric, Kenny stills and the rest of the players that protested out.

If Josh Norman suplexed the opposing QB several seconds after the ball was gone on a clear running play, we would have loved it? Are you out of your mind?

Suplexed? He tackled wentz, could’ve easily been a playaction. See this is the fuging problem with you people who hate Eric Reid for kneeling. It clouds your judgement on everything else he does. 

 

Also jenkins is a bitch made sellout and it looked like he was talking poo to Reid.

I don't hate him for kneeling, I support his kneeling and the message he's trying to communicate. I don't mind him having beef with Jenkins as long as that stays off the field. When he takes incredibly late shots at the opposing QB that I'd be losing my mind about if they were on Cam, that's what I have a problem with.

I figured that was what it was about.  Reid and Kap lost their jobs and their offers to play for the most part, meanwhile, Jenkins raised a fist instead of kneeling and kind of co-opted their movement, but a more watered down version...  he also continued to be employed and iirc, went on to work with the league and Goodell on that sham coalition/meeting thing with owners on how to approach the protests and never lost anything...  and even after that meeting, the league mandated that players still had to stand before doubling back on it.

If I was Reid, I would've been pissed off too.

And honestly, I'm glad he's playing on the edge; it's something we've been missing.

Bro you GET what it's about.

He's not making it about himself, he had something to say to Jenkins and Jenkins said something back which escalated it. 

But if anyone think Colin Jones is better man oh man.

      I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.

      Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
