Patrick Peterson has asked for a trade

The trade for Peterson would be the Saints going all in on this year and not really worrying about next.

BUT, it could all be solved IF the Saints win the SB and Drew rides off into the sunset. It certainly would be a gamble.

If it doesn't work out? Well, the Saints may have to let someone walk (Ingram, Peterson, Bridgewater).

I would take Peterson in a second.  The cap continues to increase and with Cam on a relatively cheap contract compared to other QBs, we could probably pull this off.

I normally don’t get all worked up over trade speculation, but we need to jump on this. Cam and Luke aren’t getting younger and we have a lot of FAs after this season. We need to do what it takes to win sooner rather than later.

Well, IF we were to be interested we might have a slight edge since Wilks knows our players so well. Maybe there's someone he'd consider so that we wouldn't have to give up a 1st.
