so what did Cam do after the game yesterday?

We've really been able to watch Cam grow up here. He's gone from a really good kid to an excellent community member and he will, by the time he hangs up his cleats, be considered one of the great people of Charlotte. And that's outside of his football abilities.

The guy's got a good heart and a heart for Good. Can't get enough folks like that.

Obligatory (in my book) shameless thread bump.

Too bad we won't see this on headline news, or anywhere else tonight. Already headed for page two here.

Stop and THINK about it. I wonder...if the media, a few posters around here, and everyone else in between, spent half as much time and effort spreading "news" like this, instead of so, so many stories and thoughts of violence, hatred, and sheer, outright lunatic behavior, this country, the entire planet even, very well might be a much better place. Kudos to you Mr. Newton. Kudos. Not sure why, but, for some reason, this post struck me in a way that made me stop, take a pause for a minute from a heavy load, sign in, and just say it - "simple and plain." That is all. Now, back to your regularly scheduled (unfortunately) programming.

    • frank, that ball was very catchable where it hit his hands. I don't even think he bent at waist until after he dropped it. He actually slows his pace to position himself to catch the ball. That will never be a pass I'd blame on the QB.   NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-54-54.mp4
    • https://overthecap.com/position/left-guard   Lewis is the 9th highest paid Left Guard in the league. I bet it was higher when the deal was done two years ago.    https://overthecap.com/position/right-guard Hunt #3 highest Right Guard   There is a tab in the upper left portion of the graphic that allows looking at the different positions.
    • It was a great play, but a better catch than throw. The TE boxes out Moehrig for position. Jumps to catch the ball. Catches it and turns 180 degrees while he's still in the air. Comes down and toe taps to stay in bounds and lunges for the goal post. That first part where he boxes out Moehrig for the ball is huge. If he doesn't do that and simply fades back to catch the ball (this is why Bryce doesn't trust XL), then Moehrig likely undercuts the pass for a break up or INT. Stafford trusts his receivers to make plays for him. Here I slowed it down so you can see it. Great play but amazing catch and score by the TE.  NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-45-32.mp4 NFL+ _ Live Games on mobile, NFL RedZone, NFL Network and More! - Google Chrome 2026-01-15 13-44-37.mp4
