Of course, I don't mean that, and I love Tepper so far as our owner.  I'm just hoping if he reads the huddle this provocative title will goad him via reverse psychology to fire Rivera right now lol.  I figured the "balls" part was really edgy and antagonistic lol.  You're welcome, Huddle.

Just now, Smithers said:

Here’s the problem.  We are down 2 coaches already.  You fire Rivera now, who do you make HC?  Prob Turner...but offense isn’t the issue and Turner isn’t going to fix the defense.  Tepper will wait until the season is over.

Offensive calls seemed to be a pretty big issue today

We've lost five games in a row. Does it really matter? We'd have that same 0-5 record over the past five week if it wasn't you or me coaching the team.

Haha true.  Let Olsen coach.  At this point I’m hoping for a good draft pick and a new coach.  We damn well better take a DE with that pick.

No disrespect, I am and all of us are in the same boat as you watching this losing season,..

but a guy that makes billions doing the Opposite of what everyone else says to so means he’s going to to do what HE wants not what you or me want.

i mean, he makes enough money to have your balls cut off any time he wants.

    • Then why are they paying QBs so much compared to other players? QB are making so much it's harder and harder to pay other players. If a guy plays like 1 of 11 then there pay should be in line with that. Not all QB should be breaking the bank just because your next or a former 1st rounder There is a reason they say try to win it all on a QB rookie deal because after that they can cripple a team on what it can do. I would rather not do that for a bottom 1/3 QB. Cam and Jake have been the only QBs worth investing long term into this team has had I would rather not lower the bar. If a guy don't got the IT factor and it shows I would rather not invest long term into them and keep looking
    • Aho…come out and prove me wrong boy.
    • I mean, I hear what y'all are saying, but Derrick could have been positive without being negative.  He essentially accused people of not seeing Bryce's improvement because of their desire to not be wrong. He could've kept it about Bryce and the team. For example, he could've said: "Bryce has made strides, and we believe in him. This coming season, his continued improvement will turn a lot of people into believers."  That would've been supportive of his teammate and sent a message to the doubters. That being said, his tact almost summoned and left the door ajar for more skepticism. That's my take anyway. Bryce has improved from the bottom to perhaps skirting the line between the bottom third and mid-third at best...after three seasons. We've all seen it. Yay! In my mind, Bryce has still got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but my expectations are top five--at least top 10--always! Yes, I am a fan, so there's that, but I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect excellence. Hopefully the Panthers FO has the same mindset (and that doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with what we gave up to acquire him). That is the lens I'm looking through. Derrick Brown has his homer glasses on. He just needs to be more diplomatic and thoughtful with his words in my opinion, but I get it that he's a good teammate.
