yup, this is the game of the year. The first time all year I wish I had cable.

ESPN games are usually required to be carried by a local provider for the local team, typically the ABC affiliate but not always.

That being said -- you may be in luck:

the 2018 season marks the first time that fans can stream their locally broadcast games, as well as nationally televised matchups — including “Sunday Night Football” on NBC and “Monday Night Football” on ESPN — by using the NFL App

NFC kind of sucks this year but 7-9 playoffs is a bit underwhelming.   My dream scenario is us catching Saints at home by surprise, then Pitt pounding the living crap out of them, and in the final game we will be the beneficiaries of that pounding.  3-0 baby and Saints are going into the playoffs battered and vulnerable.

    • So yes, him having his best game as a pro was a big part, but besides that him doing it while injured, while coming back into the game is a big difference.  Yea he has come back and played in games when injured...but he also in those cases have come back in and stunk up the joint like so many times he has in the past and THAT is what makes it different.
    • I don't think deep in the fan sense matters much, honestly. I still think he needs to be able to consistently place passes well up to 20 yards and that's what is more critical. He did that yesterday - he was basically 7/11 on passes 15-25 yards and that's good enough that it also opens up passes all over the rest of the field. In week 10 he was 1/2 in that range; week 9 2/3 with an int; week 7 he was 0/4.  Anyway we need more of that... He needs to be stressing defenses past the sticks for us to open up the rest of the offense.
    • That depends on the factors involved. Quite a few of the shorter passes that we do throw the "check down" is one of the first 1-2 reads. One could argue that could be because of Bryce but that's really almost impossible for us to know without Dave Canales essentially telling us that directly.
