Panthers vs aints

The playoffs are a long shot but as a football fan I’m looking forward to watching these 2 young RBs go at it. I love the versatility they bring to the table in the run and pass game, they are very elusive, make guys miss and can run routes like wide receivers. RBs have to be weapons in the passing game and Gurley, McCaffrey, Kamara, Barkley and Bell are all examples of that. Reminds me of watching Marshall Faulk, Roger Craig, LT and other dual threat backs growing up that could get you 1,000 rushing yards and 500+ receiving yards consistently .

Here is a statistical comparison heading into Monday Night:

Rushing
McCaffrey 179 carries 926 yards 5.2 ypc. 7 TD
Kamara 173 carries 793 yards 4.6 ypc., 11 TD

Receiving
McCaffrey 86 catches 701 yards 8.2 ypr 6 TD
Kamara 70 catches 591 yards 8.4 ypr 4 TD

all I want for Christmas is rivera fired

Projects to 1140 rushing 106 catches for 863 and 2003 scrimmage yards Much better than gurley and Elliot in their second year and Fournette of course .

im the best with the threads im always right . panther untied /hornet is good too

If you just look at the numbers for each team we are close to them in yardage differential. In fact our yardage differential is much better than 2017 even tho our record is worse. We are doing great in rushing and have almost 400 total more yards than our opponents and average 5.2 per rush much better than Aints. The main difference this year is we are losing all the close games. Last year we won the close games

Our first thousand yard rusher since double trouble. I'm happy with that alone but he wants 1000 receiving they've got a lot of work to do.

hes not going to get to 1000 and 1000 unless he has a historic receiving day for a WR. He needs 299 more receiving yards in 3 games, he wont accomplish that unless he has some gigantic plays and at least a couple games well above 100 yards receiving.

I'm predicting he'll get mighty close considering how bad our defense has been. We might be airing it out and trying to play from behind in all 3 contests which is one of the only ways he'll get that much receiving yardage. he'll probably end up with about 850 receiving, he tends to average around 40 to 50 receiving yards a game.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
