He is playing like a 6'5" 260lb turd.  Gotta be looking for his replacement in draft.  Not playing with any authority, missing wide open passes and throwing ball to covered receiver with no touch.

Hate to say, but Cam Newton era is over.

He may be hurt but he can help the Offense out by making quicker decisions. Still in this game just need to execute better.

I love me some Cam Newton, but if the guy isn’t even a little bit of a threat to throw a 10 yard pass, it’s going to be tough to beat a team like this. Put in the other guy. At least keep the defense honest.

Hurt shoulder and I think he’s mentally not in the game right now. 

We also designed this offense to cater way too much  to Cams strengths from college and not enough behind center. It’s made him not see the field as clearly  because he’s looking for the designed open guy all the time off of read options and play actions.

Maybe it’s all his shoulder but Cam was a much more crisp player in 13,14,15. He rose the challenge of playing QB. Seems like he’s half in half out right now.

Cam will be out of the leauge by 2021. We need to draft his successor either next year if Herbert falls to us or in 2020.
