O-line is a bigger need than D-line

You can get a sevicable pass rusher in the 3rd round also.... Hardy, Johnson and Addison where all mid round picks.

And a good OG isn’t cheap anymore.

Like I said above I want a Clowney or Lawrence than go Center or LT in the first. And yes we can sign a premier pass rusher if the owner is willing

Addison it took a few years before he really developed into producing

Hardy was a 1st-2nd round guy who fell due to off the field issues.

You can get a dam good OG in the 3rd.  See Turner and Norwell as a UFA.

DE we need someone to produce Now

And a NT is a big need.  Atlanta fans warned us and made fun of us for Poe.  Its not a coincidence of KKs and the LBs game drop  off this year.  When your NT is getting pushed around by 1 guy.

And there are guys like Hardy in every class. You can get a good pass rusher in the mid rounds like I stated earlier.

The patriots haven’t had an elite D-line in 13 years.

Sorry but the d-line doesn’t have the franchise 100 million dollar player behind it. Keep getting your QB killed the d-line won’t matter

The Patriots are literally the only exception to that and it’s because they have the greatest player in NFL history. Notice that when they lose it’s usually because of their defense, not their offense.

Like Haynes, Hall, Butler, Ealy, Alexander, McClain, Fua, Brown, Irvin, etc...

The Panthers have drafted three impact players on the defensive line in the last 11 years and none in recent history. Heck, our three best offensive linemen were drafted in the past five years and in that same time frame we’ve come up with ZERO defensive line starters because we keep trying to find a diamond in the rough.

The OL can be fixed through simple tweaks, the defensive line needs a complete overhaul that starts with getting an elite player in the first round.

When you have a defensive coach like NE you shouldn’t need to use high picks on defense, they should be able to develop mid round talent. NE was actually won cause of their defense, they had the number 1 scoring D in 2016 and held the best offense to 21 points

I can name guys like Silatolu, Robinson, Kugbila all midround pick that amounted to nothing. And no you can’t fix the o-line with simple tweaks, those tweaks has gotten our QB injured again. And who are these 3 best o-lineman? Williams? Lol Addison is a better player than any O-lineman except Turner

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
