I told you a long time ago he sucks.  Take off the Arsenal shades, reality awaits.

Apparently there is an offer for him from Inter but he’s refusing to accepting it.  Wants to stay in London.  So Emery benched him.  fuging mess.  $30M a year to be on the bench lol.

Looks like Higuain to Chelsea will happen.  Will be facinating to see the difference between Morata and him atp.  At least I know Higuian has done it in the past.  The 6 mth loan deal being floated is a no brainer for Chelsea.  No lose situation.

enjoy watching him fluff chances in critical moments. nobody does it like higuain.

madrid linked with plenty of strikers in the window, but still zero movement. hopefully they'll sign someone there. they also are close to signing eder militao (cb from porto), but he actually won't move till the summer. i prefer de ligt, but militao looks like a quality young cb too.

in the least shocking move of the window, barcelona finally announced frenkie de jong. he'll move during the summer window. fee is believed to be 90-95 million euros, which would make it the third time in a year and a half that they've found themselves paying a top five transfer fee of all time to sign a player (ousmane dembelee, phillipe coutinho, frenkie de jong).

Europe is expected to hit huge recession in 2019.  Let’s see if they can keep it going.

Cardiff City breaks transfer record on Argentinian striker, Sala.  Less than 24 hours after deal was finalized, Sala airplane crashes and Sala dies on the way to Cardiff. Awful.

i hadn't seen that, that's awful

Inter confirms that Ivan Perisic put in a transfer request to force his move to EPL. A bit past prime but still a decent player.  Good chance Arsenal will get him.  It’s odd Arsenal is still going after wingers with one of the worst Ds in EPL.

Looks like they secured a loan for Denis Suarez. Not a defender, but it's activity for you.

Loan with an option to buy so he needs to perform.  We need a CAM with his quality.  Currently Ozil is the only CAM and he’s always hurt and can’t never last full 90 minutes.  Arsenal needs RW so they can switch to 2 DMs to help out CB issues.  Looks like Arsenal nogitiating with Perisic, Carrasco and Malcom but not sure if anything will come of it.

    • We definitely overpaid but as long as he's not lined up at NT he's been a starter level player which is a major step in the right direction compared to last year's D-line.  Because of his contract he'll definitely be here next year, but I fully expect him to be a cap casualty next offseason.  We'd save 15M in cap space if we cut him in 2027. I don't think he sees year 3 of his deal. I'd be open to keeping him around in 2027 but his deal would have to be reworked to a substantially lower number.
    • Getting left out in favor of less-deserving Alabama is an honor bestowed upon a new team every year. Miami should take pride in back-to-back 10-win seasons for the first time in decades. As long as this doesn't cripple their program like it did FSU, they should be able to go for another one next year.  And, being someone who also likes to see Miami do well but knows its penchant for horribly timed losses, there's a great chance they don't find a way to beat UVa or Duke last night regardless of the matchup on paper.
    • Truth be told, I just like a 4-3 defense better and I'll just jump in with any chance to make that statement. Seemed like an opportune moment.
