Source claims Eric Reid lied about how many times he was tested

And folks, look at the average roster in the NFL--this is really not about racism.  If I thought that were the case, I would be the first in line to protest.

They ask Reid to take a drug test, and he complies but feels discriminated against.  Yet he complies.

Yet he does not stand for the National Anthem for the same reason?

I personally did not think he should have to stand, but I do not recall anyone telling him that he had to stand.  We just do not know all of the facts, but if I am a GM, I worry that he could piss in the drinking water--I look elsewhere for talent (safe move, not a racial move).

Well there are actual rules about taking drug tests whereas there are no rules about being required to stand. He would get suspended for a “failed” test if he refused to take a drug test and would have no chance at winning an appeal.

Every drug test I have done and I'm subject to random test at anytime.  You sign a piece of paper with a time and date on it  and get a copy. So if Reid was tested alot he would have receipts to prove it.

NFL should just say how many times he was tested.  They are the ones being accused of something, easy way to prove their innocence.   Should be easy for them to do the same.

They can’t because it’s private medical information. That’s why this is coming out via sources and wasn’t in their statement.

"Sources".

The league is worth billions, has all sorts of resources at their disposal. Yet they make more of an effort to disprove this than they did to get to the bottom of the Kareem Hunt incident before their hand was forced.

F*ck the NFL.

Get to the bottom of the Kareem Hunt incident?  He assaulted multiple people, including a female.  There's video of it.

How did a random media outlet get a hold of that video before a sports league worth billions like the NFL?

You aren't good at comprehending posts.

The NFL is basically daring him to provide proof. They can’t because of HIPAA which is why they leaked that he has been tested less than he claimed via “sources.”

Doesn’t hippo say you can’t reveal medical info. Nothing specific to how many requests they made.  The request for a medical procedure is not the same as the medical procedure.

A doctor can provide information such as date and time related to a patient appointment but not the info specific to an appointment or diagnosis.  These should be available.

So... you think the NFL didn't look for a video?  What's the motivation for that?

Take your tin foil hat off, dude.

No matter where you stand on the issue this is a terrible point that really needs to die. Paying minorities to be entertainers for your profit in no way excludes you from being racist.

I know what you were going for here,

But this almost made me spit out my coffee lol.

There are definitely ways to find the exact number of tests that were requested of Reid, however, both sides are restricted by the same rules with regards to medical info, like you stated. The only way this gets resolved is behind closed doors with lawyers and the works, unfortunately. So we will probably never know which side was right. It'll just stay a PR battle between the two sides.

Employers are generally not affected by the HIPAA privacy rule. The NFL releases medical information all of the time. We get to know when and why players are suspended for PEDs or drugs. When a player gets knocked out of the game they give us detailed injury reports.

yes, the nfl did look, but will not pay even $1 for a video, so kareem was sliding til it came out.
