Well if ur a Mcshay Guy(I am I love him and Kiper personally) then It looks as if defensive ends are sliding. We’re in luck because olinemen have moved up boards. He has Gary as the second defensive lineman off the board and you all know how I feel about him..

All you Ferrell hypers could be in luck. But I would much rather Have any of the others Sweat beyond Gary than a one year guy playing on a line of First rounders.

Ferrell had 11.5 sacks this season and 27 in his college career. Hall had 3.5 his final college season and 14 in his entire college career.

Hall had the measurables, but there's a reason why he was available in the third. We took him as a project hoping we could develop him. He just wasn't a football player. He never was.

I said you Farrell fans might be in luck. If you like Overacheivers with less than great physical tools he’s a fine guy. I think he’s basically deshaun Hall playing alongside Garrett myself

Hall wasnt wrecking the top OTs in the draft

Austin Bryant is more like Hall

Ferrell has been lucky to play with that DL.  But you can say any player playing along with ______ helped him at any major program.

Ferrell matched up against the top OL in the draft in the national championship who some people have going as high as top 5.  And Ferrell wrecked him

I don’t put much stock into Statistics when judging a guy. Of course they are indicators when a player is an elite athletes and the numbers are there, but when your playing on a first round line and everyone else double teamed and your one on one u should win more matchup. Not saying he was never doubled but, he had plenty of chances to put up numbers.

If he runs a 4.6-4-7 I will cut him a break. I need to see some atleticism to put him ahead of sweat at this point.

Why the F would you start a mock draft thread and omit the only team anyone on here cares about?

not making the huddle better

Because it’s the off-season and everyone is talking prospects not who we don’t know will be there at 16. Mock drafts are a big guessing game but, they can show a general idea of the top prospects.

He’s the hall of there defensive line, Lawrence and Wilkins were better football players than him. They garnered more attention and will probably go higher in the draft than him.

Actually if youve watched Clemson games

Theyve always said Ferrell was the besg player on the Line.  Said the staff has stated it as well.  A lot of the interior gets help from his presence on the edge.

Austin Bryant is the Hall, freak athlete.  Doesnt put the big #s but when he does mainly due to the other guys.

Those interior DL didnt help him punking the top OL in the draft in the national championship game.

He was abusing Jonah Williams worst than Garrett abused Cam Robinson, and Williams is Much Much more highly touted than Robinson.  That interior had nothing to do with that.

If he is the Hall are you saying that Bryant is better than him?

No sir. I don’t mean Ferrell is terrible and he is a first rounder. I mean he is the” other guy” and benefits from having elite talent around him. I only don’t care for him when compared to the other options at defensive end because, he probably isn’t a to end athlete which is a big thing when you talking first half of the first round. He’s decent though. You could definitely do worse.

if we talking hall vs Farrell straight up then Farrell easy..

    • Sometimes its fun to read the threads/posts.  The panthers could literally hire a groundskeeper and we'd have a thread "improving the field for no other reason to prop up Bryce Young".  Apparently no move is ever done to actually make the team better.  All a conspiracy to just focus on Bryce Young. Or suddenly daydreaming and reminiscing about Sam Darnold when he was hated more than Bryce Young.  Its really fun to do a message board search about Darnold during that time period.   Or thinking there is just a tree that grows QB, and you can just easily go up and pluck one.
    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
