Kaepernick is an awful QB, he was never any good. Good on Reid for sticking up for his buddy but I sure as hell wouldn’t want to commit any of our cap space to Kaepernick.

I get not liking the guy for personal reasons but to imply he was never any good is a pretty inaccurate thing to say. College? His first two years as a starter? Even his last season where his team was terrible he was like 16 TDs to 4 INTs. Never good? Let's step back for a moment and not be so dramatic rofl.

some of you sure like to tell black men what to do on the internet.  what to think, what not to think, how to act, how not to act, who they can be friends with.    i hope 1 of y'all actually stops to think about that.   because the situation is that these black men are more successful that you will ever be.   they can go more places than you can ever go.  they can meet more interesting people than you'll ever meet.  they've worked harder for their success than you've ever worked at anything.    the truth is literally staring you in the face but you can't see it, or just don't want to.

Can’t wait unti the Panthers sign Kaep to rid the fan base of these hot take degenerates stinking up this place. Seriously.

Guess what it's not happening. Then we can't get rid of people on here like u that want to pull for players that don't care about football.

Yeah, let's sign an inferior player, commit cap space we need for other things and make our roster worse just so we can piss some people off.

Solid idea :eyeroll:

TD to int ratio isn't the best indication of your ability. It is more an indication of your scheme and your risk tolerance. Guys who never throw into tight windows or check down most of the time will have good TD to Int ratios and high completion rates. But there will be a low yards per completion and without a good run game and mobility lots of sacks and not many wins.

Do you really think black athletes are perusing message board sites and doing what fans say they should. And let's be real, having lots of money playing sports doesn't mean you are smart or knowledgeable in other areas. Much like actors who want to weigh in on most issues as if their actor or money status qualifies them as experts outside of their field.

How successful are you? You seem to have a comment about everything?

Cam Newton and Kap both average 7.3 yard per attempt. Despite Cam going off and completing almost 70% of his passes this year, Kap has a higher career completion %. Kap gets 12.1 yards per completion and Cam gets 12.3. I don't even like Kap as a player but its obvious there is a bit of an agenda from people who make the claim he was never good.

Again most of Kaps success was when Harbaugh was there and he had a good run game, good defense and a scheme built around one receiver patterns. Kap is like Cam was years ago before he learned to read defenses and had to have receivers open before he would throw a pass. Since Harbaugh left he has not been good. And that is what we would be getting. Obviously stats can be misleading. Cam hit on many of his passes in the second half of the year even with a bum shoulder. If all you looked at was stats you would hardly know he was injured. And let's be real here. Using Cam's stats as a comparison isn't exactly a high bar. He has never put up great stats.

As for an agenda, why would I be one of the first to say we should sign Reid if I had an agenda. My agenda is win and Kap hasn't shown he can or will in the last several years.

I only replied to you because you quoted me. You said X stat was a bad judge so I went and grabbed Y stat. The line about somebody saying Kap was never good having an agenda was in reference to the very first post I did in this thred where I quoted whoever the user was who said it. It was not directed at you.
