Kyler Murray at #1

Kingsbury was quoted before twking the Cardinals job that he'd take Murray #1 overall.

I thought all along that Rosen was a bust, but they spent the #10 overall pick on him last year. Would Keim be willing to pick another QB #1 overall one year later for his new coach? I have to think the QB situation was a hot topic of conversation during the interview process.

Lot of talk about Kyler to Arizona at #1.  I pray this happens, pushes down the Edge dudes but would love  some talk about this guy going first.  I just cannot see it.  I wouldn’t pick him period.

More QB picks in the top 15 more pass rushing options for us..

I have a huge problem thinking this guy will succeed in this league.  QB hungry is an understatement.  No way he can run without getting destroyed.  I so hope Zona takes him.

Yeah, CMC was supposed to get destroyed too and he and Murray are basically the same size.

Will add we had this discussion last season with the number 1 pick Mayfield and it was not possible.  Is Zona that crazy?

Looks like the Browns finally got one right. Now let's watch them inevitably fug it up somehow because they're the Browns.

    • Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.
    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
