Sweat just ran out of our reach 4.42 defensive end.

Not necessarily. The other DL are also showing well - and his negative traits still exist (stiff, lack of power moves).  A couple WRs put themselves in consideration for top 15 yesterday - and the DBs have yet to run. Still a chance he is there at 16......but probably not a great one

I gained respect for him, for sure.  Gary too.

Lost respect for Ferrell.  He looked sluggish. May mean nothing.

Saw a lot of sleepers who could be better NFLers than college players.

I think there will be 3-4 QBs taken.

GONE (7):  K Murray QB Bosa DE, Q. Williams DT, J Williams OT, Josh Allen OLB, White LB,  Haskins QB

PROLLY GONE (7): Gary DE, Oliver DT, Williams CB, Metcalf WR, Sweat DE,  Lock QB, Ferrell DE

These players could surprise and  the top 15:  D. Jones, QB;  Wilkins, DT; Murphy, CB; Simmons DT; Baker CB.

I think the Panthers will pick from the following:

OT--Ford, Little, Dillard, Taylor

DE-Sweat, Burns, Ferrell

LB-Bush

I am so happy RR ran the score up vs. New Orleans as the laughed on  the opposite sideline

Still think Sweat drops as far as 16 after a 4.41 Forty?

Just as long as Wilkins is available, I’m good.

Didn’t we just try with Butler.. we can’t keep so ignoring defensive end and adding more tackles.. realistically only one defensive tackle is a pass rusher and the other a run stuffed as well to consider.

Try what? Are we not supposed to ever draft a DT again? Even though none played well, and only one will be here next year. Maybe. At 18M.

Our problem is that we keep NTs in on passing downs. Don’t get any pressure from them on any downs. Wilkins can play either DT or SDE. So other than a bust who has nothing to do with this, what’s the issue?

    • Think the "official time" put out was 4.48, but there were a lot of scouts there who of course all had difference times as it's all handed timed by them.  Think I saw it as low as 4.43 and as high as 4.62 or something, but in the end it's all basically the same speed because 40 yard dash is so pointless. Anyone who complains about his speed is just someone who wants a Chase/Jefferson/Nabers style #1 as opposed to an Evans style #1 who isn't going to beat you because of his speed but his other abilities. In the end, he's fast enough for a player his size and surprisingly quicker and more agile than people give him credit for too. The real problem is that Panthers fans can't get our past big WR failures out of their head, they hear "big WR" and automatically see a plodding KB or Jarrett in their minds and assume that's also T-Mac.
    • If you are buying Silver Club, 300 level, try and the buy ones that have the Lot 1 parking pass.  it is steps to the stadium Also, buy on the shade side my PSls used to be section 342, under the overhang.  I didnt care about sun or rain plenty of sites have interactive  maps that can show you   Just know, if they are opposite side of 342, the sun will beat on your head…endzones too.   if, you know for sure that you are going, and you need a hotel room, do it now  you can always cancel … remember, even if the panthers suck,  the national press follows them as do their fans.  Hotel rooms go fast for that game
    • didn't he run like a 4.52?
