So it is a little early but right now it's looking like our pick will be between 11 and 15 unless something crazy happens. Where do you see our needs and who do you like in this draft.

We are going to really need a PF and I like PJ Washington from Kentucky. He is a 2 year player which mean he is a bit more polished and should be able to come in and make an immediate impact. He has a really long wingspan and has been improving as a 3 point shooter. I think he would pair very nicely with Miles.

It looks like Batum is now our SG again and I don't know what the plan for Monk is anymore (I don't see any chance of us being able to re-sign Lamb and I don't think we should) but if we go with a shooting guard I really like Kevin Porter Jr and of course Coby White.

I’m thinking the same for little and white

little is a long, long way from being an nba player

white can shoot and get his own shot, but would get eaten up on def and his floor game isn’t as polished as it needs to be

I have a feeling they both may return to school to make a run at a title next year.

Coby White- same size as Jeremey Lamb NOW (so probably will fill out more)

Can play PG to let Kemba rest

But can play SG, with his PG skills, probably one of the better handles, and passing for 2Guards

Can shoot

Create his own shot

And defend

Plus should be around our pick

tankathon has this for the hornets

I like it for the front court.

Hornets could go in a direction with resigning Kemba and offseason trades of youngsters.
If they are going as hard for experienced help in Kemba prime.
They could trade the rookie contracts of players and draft picks.
If they want to keep Lamb they need to make the room in the cap space.
As Lambs replacement, I wouldn't mind seeing Bacon play 24+ mins a year.
It seems JB will use Kemba and Batum handling the ball.

Anyway, it's difficult to comment on the Hornets as it's messy situation.
Regarding the draft picks.

I'm afraid of Hornets drafting guards, most draft picks haven't worked out period.
Next draft im liking
6'6'' Culver
6'6'' Keldon
6'5'' Nickeil (would have been cool to have kept Shai and draft his relative also, anyways I like Miles)

The other guards may work out but If I have to go safe I like those 3.
Maybe there are other options if trading up or down.

The forwards 9 (I prefer to pick forwards and keep Kemba handling it)
6'9'' Sekou
6'9'' KZ
6'7'' DeAndre
(I'm worried with Gonzaga picks but maybe either Rui or Clarke both 6'8'')
(Also worried with Kentucky picks but maybe PJ 6'8'')

The bigs (Maybe good value after the forwards, defensive, length, athlete, pressure on/around the rim)
6'11'' Jaxson
7'2'' Bol
there are more in the back end if we trade down etc.

Interesting to see comments what the community thinks.
I'll be watching the draft

Id love to see a

PG: Kemba

SG: Coby

SF: Bridges

With Monk coming off the bench as the 6th man scorer like Eric Gordon is with the Rockets

Trying not to be a homer but id really take a real hard look a Cam Johnson in the 2nd.

How this dude isnt getting more love by NBA people confuses the heck out of me (reminds me of Danny Green coming out how underrated)  He is leading the whole ACC in offensive efficiency.  He is listed at 6'9 and playing the 3, but I think he is closer to 6'10.  He towers over other guys listed 6'8 (kinda reminds me when Texas listed Durant at 6'10). Dude would make one hell-of-a option as a stretch 4.

Dude is

Putting right up at 17 points 6 reb playing less than 30 min a game.  He's shooting 47% from 3 and 51% from the field

I don't get it either.  Feel like he's going to sneak into the late 1st or be really early 2nd.  The Danny comp even makes me think a smart team like the Spurs would grab him, and make the rest of the league look foolish for passing on him.

His age, injury history, and lack of perceived athleticism maybe hurting him?  Would be a 2nd round steal

    • Why? AI already taking jobs, running up power bills, drinking all the water and just bad for the environment but hey lest try to shoehorn another useless way to use it.
    • I'm going rogue in R1 but there's so much confusion around us. Last year, we were going Walker or Williams and caught folks off guard with TMac. The previous year we LOVED Legette and it was no surprise when his name was called. This year, I think we nail three areas that weren't totally addressed in FA.  R1 - Kayden McDonald Full disclosure, I want Thienemann here, but think he goes before 19. Some might see an "overdraft" but McDonald unlocks so many people on our D. Having a DT the caliber of McDonald let's Lloyd, Wallace and the newly drafted Hill flood the offensive backfield. Also opens up Moehrig and our EDGES to eat. Lastly, it also removes all the pressure on DB to be the primary facilitator in the trenches and A'Shawn will be missed. I don't care about Turk. McDonald is the only true DT worth of a R1 grade and Morgan seals up our trenches here w/ a kid from a blue blood school. R2 - Anthony Hill Jr *trade up*  I love JRod, but think a smart team takes him at the end of R1 (Seattle, NE w/ two d-minded coaches). Hill, Jr is a beast and lost in the shuffle with all the Styles/Allen/Rodriguez hype. He and Lloyd with DB and McDonald up front and flanked by Scourton/Phillips is nasty.  R3 - Hecht/Lew/Center du jour Let's stop the madness with ignoring this position in the draft. We need one and should start normalizing the capital invested in our OL with someone on a draft contract. He won't need to start day 1, but I think the right selection will push for starter reps. R4 - Bud Clark Not sure if he's here in R4 where we pick, but would fit the "type" of FS/roamer that we need opposite Moehrig and Ransom. Allows us to run 3-safety looks and really keep teams guessing with personnel packages. R5 - Kendrick Law The kind of WR we need. IDK if he's any different than Horn, Jr or Metchie but Law could be a dart throw that brings a deep threat to our WR corps I'm guessing one of the R5 picks is used to move up in R2 along with a '27 day 3 pick.   Post-draft, I sign Njoku to bring in a vet at TE. I'm also keeping my eyes open for pre-week 1 team cuts for a young CB that we could bring in to maybe plan for Mike Jack's departure next year. Flame away.... I know the McDonald pick will not make people happy.
