Who is your favorite draft “talking head”

I never cared for mayock... I felt like he said a lot of stuff for shock value. His boards always had some drastic differences from the rest of the draft world. Maybe good or bad. He would have like some guy everyone had as a 3rd rounder as like his number 2 DB or something.

I really liked Mayock. I basically view Kiper and McShay as the Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith of the draft. Annoying blowhards who add very little of value.

Stephen A is an idiotic blowhard who knows nothing about football and any other sport except basketball

I wouldn’t say all that. Stephen A generally sounds correct in the idea of what he is saying and was the logic to Skips crazy. Now you might not like how he says things or his mannerisms but, I don’t think he’s an idiot by any means.

An example of his lack of knowledge when he suggested that Carolina was a perfect landing spot for Laveon  Bell while Max correctly pointed out that we already had cmc.

i used to like mayock ok until the draft, idk, maybe 5-6 years ago.  anyone else remember the draft he was just cruel over and over and over to rich eisen, even making '***' type references at him.  i really thought he would lose his job.  not that i think eisen is that great, but he seems like a genuinely nice guy and mayock was desperately trying to 'alpha' him.  and i can't stand listening to mayock call a game.  he's so annoying.   anybody trying to 'alpha' rich eisen while having a lisp is dreadfully unaware.

i listen to all of them as we get closer to the draft, but when you match the actual draft against these guys predictions you realize their info and predictions are crap.  if they get 5 picks right in the first few rounds it'll be an improvement.

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
