As you may know, I  have been watching the visitation list as well and I have arrived at nearly similar conclusions.

1. Montez Sweat or Brian Burns--when one is taken, the Panthers will try to make a move.  Note:  If Clelin Ferrell is in the mix, we would not know because he is a local player and visited.  I find it interesting that we have not met with Rashan Gary in any way, shape or form.   I still see Brian Burns in Black and Blue (That is alliteration, youngsters!) and I will be excited about it.

2.   Dalton Risner (G/T), Greg Little (G/T), Chris Lindstrom (G) or Erik McCoy (G/C) sitting there would be difficult to pass over.  This pick is OL because we need a starter AND there are so many solid safeties in this draft.  I am curious about the plans at LG--- RR mentioned the Colts turnaround based on improved line play.  Yet the Panthers have done little to bring in pure guards who can start. Risner and Little are hybrids who could play G for a year.  McCoy would be a G who can move to C when Paradis is done.  I know it is tempting to go S, but  I think we go OL in round 2.

3. This draft is so S rich, someone with a second-round grade will be there in the third. I see a player like Taylor Rapp dropping because he had a slow 40. He reads quickly  and brings the pain--I would be elated. If not,  Darnell Savage, Amani Hooker or Juan Thornhill could be there and both would be an upgrade.

3. This pick may be traded.  If not, Will Grier or a CB  make sense.  Do not rule out a DT--like Khalen Saunders.

4.  Revisit RR's comment about the Colts developing their OL.  It is possible that we take an OT like Bobby Evans or Tytus Howard here if we go with a G in round 2?   Caleb McGrary or Charlotte's  Nate Davis could be in play here.  This could be CB.

5.  There are some talented WRs late in the draft that could fill the Panther's #4-5 wr spot.  We could stay in North Carolina here, with Anthony Ratliff-Williams as a clear possibility. David Sills is a big WR who could fill a void if there. QB Thorson is also in play,

6. RB or CB.

I’m just waiting for the hell fire people will want to throw Hurney in no matter what he does... gonna be good times

I was furious when we re-hired him;  if he pulls the stupid crap he did before again, I will be furious again. However, I learn from my mistakes and Marty has shown that he is doing a decent job since returning.  He had a good draft and a good free agency.  He did not mortgage the future like he used to do--is that Tepper's oversight or Hurney's maturity?  He has earned my support.

1st rounder will definitely be somebody we met with. Hurney took Carter in 2017, so maybe some of the late round guys have a shot as well

Sure, better value if we go O-line with #47. There prob won't be any starting caliber offensive lineman if we wait to select one in the 3rd round while there is a good probability there will be starting caliber safety in the 3rd round.
