I know FS might not be a “battle” unless Hurney signs someone else but I’m interested in seeing how Gaulden works out. If he can be even just average our D will be fine. If he struggles and we end up starting someone like Jones it’ll be a long season

IMO, the most vital position battles are WR & RB because the ones who lose will get cut. I guess you can add 3rd QB to that as well., or backup QB, since Grier will likely be third for a year while he learns the ropes.

Back-up QB.  Grier or Allen?

Would love to see these 2 guys ball out for the back-up spot. We all know the job is Cam's if he's healthy, as it should be. I would just love to see these guys playing like there's no tomorrow instead of studying the dynamics of a clipboard tension spring like DA.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one
    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
