RB Jordan Scarlett has really showed some hands and wheels in his opportunities today.

Somebody at camp last year will remember more...but swear I remember Voth even saying then that Cam wasn't hitting deep balls/couldn't throw them that well. EARLY in the season even remember fighting somebody on here that was adamant Cam's deep ball was fine.

If he's dropping 40 yard dimes while still in recovery mode?  Hell yeah

Newton uncorks another long ball, this time down the middle to Manhertz, who battles Reid for possession. Ball may have hit the turf, but hey, another show of Cam’s arm strength.

   And another … Newton deep ball to Chris not-Martinez-but-Manhertz, who makes a terrific catch between two defenders. To see Newton throw and complete two passes 30-40 yards downfield is rather significant.
