Let's see you go out there and take shots to your bruised ribs. Report back.

I've cracked ribs twice. It fuging sucks. There's no need to play in the preseason with an injury that can linger or worsen. It's just not being smart. It looks like he's close to being back anyway and the regular season is still a couple weeks away.

Playing through injury in the first two preseason games... LOL!

This is true. Cam broke a rib—ironically—five years ago this week. In the preseason. At New England.

It became a problem for him. Hell, he missed the season opener.

Maybe if u knew anything about football u know that it was just a practice game? How about after Panthers look great in the two quarters the starters play this week, you just leave the huddle.michael jordan agree GIF

Is that supposed to be some type of accomplishment? How about stop trolling cause you're not bringing insight to poo but continuously saying it was a practice game. Rivera wouldn't chew this team out during half-time for a "practice" game

After reviewing film of Friday night's loss to Buffalo, Panthers coach Ron Rivera's biggest issue with quarterbacks Kyle Allen and Will Grier wasn't bad decisions but bad throws. So the backup job remains a tossup. Rivera also said Taylor Heinicke had a good game but on Sunday last year's backup to Cam Newton remained fourth on the depth char

Panthers' camp observations: 1. Safety Tre Boston got fully into trash talking with quarterback Cam Newton after James Bradberry had his second interception. Newton finally shut Boston up with a deep touchdown pass to Aldrick Robinson. "The biggest thing we've got to remember is the Panthers aren't on the Panthers' schedule,'' coach Ron Rivera said of all the in-house chirping.; 2. Tight end Ian Thomas returned to practice after missing the past week with bruised ribs suffered in the first preseason game; 3.The Wofford College portion of camp is over so Sunday's session was the first at the re-designed practice facility with an indoor bubble, which wasn't used on this hot, muggy day. That'll happen Monday;

How about you quit crying after a practice loss, and people wouldn't call you out. The people on here like you complaining make this site not worth opening and reading. sad sadness GIF

Where did I complain? Posting observations isn't complaining. Maybe you should actually read.

Oh I read your post you made about rewatching the game with the whole list of why this season could be long. So maybe you should remember what you post buddy!

I gave praise to Scarlett, I gave props to getting 3 points in under 15 sec before half-time, I gave Slye props, I said I think the run defense would be stout. The only thing I said I believe will carry over to the regular season is the soft zone coverage

Thanks for proving me right that you don't read

So surprised no one has commented on this.  But Bonnafon is getting first team work???   Maybe they just wanted to give Cam the same looks as CMC would.  But I think it’s more than that.  CMC refuses to take practice reps off

Bonnafon has looked good this preseason.  Could he be challenging CAP for the #3 spot?

Not so sure.  I still think it’s gonna be CMC, Scarlett, CAP.  With CAP inactive on game days.  Bonnafon on the PS.

But I would love for Bonnafon take the #3 spot.  Watch to see who is returning kick offs this Thursday.
