why the hell is our oline garbage year after year? eventually you are only as good as your record and this clown hasn't ever turned out a quality line here.

I've been saying that we need a running o-line coach but I think you're right. We need a o-line coach that teaches better boxing techniques.

Since '09 we've only drafted 4 OL on the first three rounds. One of them was Amini.

We'd rather draft backup LBs and backup DTs in the 1st than properly invest in an OL.

Colts o-line went from one of the worst in the league to one of the best in ONE offseason. So it's possible, but (like you said) we just would rather use our picks on backup LBs, DT's, and QBs rather than going all in for a dominant O-line.

Coaching

Yeah

A former career RT coming off a major knee injury, that no one even offered him this year

Some undrafted scrub we picked up off the street after he was cut in the CFL

A HS hyped OT who has had motivational issue's and never panned out, that left ever draftscout writer, reporter, etc scratching theor head when we traded up for.

Yup all on coaching

Rams went from one of the worst offenses to one of the best offenses in one offseason just by a coaching change with almost the same O-line.

That would have taken a head coach willing to bite the bullet on defense in one offseason/draft to fix the problem.

The Panthers do not have that head coach.

They DO, however, have the head coach willing to bite the bullet on the position that protects his franchise QB in order to spend multiple high draft picks in a single draft for DTs and CBs.

Do the same to fix the problem of protecting Cam Newton though? PFFFFFFFFFFFT!

They signed Andrew Whitworth one of the best LTs in the game when we signed Matt Kalil. And they paid him less.

And you actually believe they have that big of a turnaround with Fisher still at HC? You think Whitworth single handily made their o-line go from one of the worst o-lines to one of the best? You're delusional if you think so. McVcay is the main culprit their offense and o-line had that big of a turnaround.
