Nah, it should be Boba and it should tell his real story(not all the clone wars BS). When it came down to it until 1-2-3, he wasn’t even a mandolorian. Just a really badass bounty hunter that wore the armor. And there weren’t many if any mandolorians around during this time period. 

But then again I’m an EU preferred. Lucas and Disney(now) are fugging up everything that was the magic of Star Wars.

Hasn't it been confirmed that it's NOT Boba Fett? I think the series looks like it's very well done and I'm looking forward to it. Oberon from Dorne in GoT is the guy playing this Mandalorian and I'm here for it for sure.

It’s been “confirmed” but there have been rumors and articles including one by Forbes they may be trying to hide Boba until the show comes out.

I guess I don't really care if it is or isn't...as long as the story is well done and compelling then IDC if it is Boba or they never mention him. Execute on the show and it's significance to the SW movies is irrelevant to me.

 Boba Fett had fallen into Sarlacc Pit and being digested over 1000 years at the end of Return of the Jedi. It could be possible he managed to get out of the pit somehow and survived.

In the old school EU he blew himself out with a thermal detonator. If you like to read that whole sequence is awesome.

Han Solo at Stars End did more to flesh out the mechanics of the SW universe than anything else. Brian Daley was gone way too soon.

It looks really good. I couldn't care less whether or not it's Boba Fett. It's not like we really got to know the guy in the movies. I'm interested in seeing more world building now that special effects are better.
