I believe in Kyle Allen

Kyle Allen throws for 320 yards and 3 touchdowns on Sunday. Finishes with a 98 passer rating. After the game, everyone will question if we would have won the Tampa Bay game with him playing.

If we simply swap Williams and Moton and start doing a better job of protecting the quarterback long enough to develop a rhythm where playmakers are able to catch some well-thrown balls....then yes, I believe in Allen OR Grier against this team.

Actions speak louder than words, so I'll believe when I see playing time and how he progresses.  That goes for any player on the roster.

He's certainly not going to be facing a bunch of backups this time.

Even with Patrick Peterson suspended, you're still going to be looking across the field at Chandler Jones, Terrell Suggs and DJ Swearinger among others.

Anybody expecting this to be a cakewalk is likely to be disappointed.

I'm sure, even if he only completes 30% of his passes, certain posters here will be as pleased as punch. Honestly, I support the tanking movement; though the Dolphins have everyone beat in that race.

At this point I'll be surprised if he finishes the game healthy.

Few quarterbacks in this league can sustain they're left tackle playing the way ours has recently. Of those, very few are also young QB's with a handful of starts. Either Allen makes chicken salad out of chicken poo, or Grier will be taking snaps sooner than we expected.

Regardless. I fully expect this place to turn on him within a millisecond.

I think he’ll do alright. If he can be at least as good as Matt Moore we’ll  win some games

Saints played their starters on D and most on offense too. Pretty much only one who sat was Brees, and Kamara only played a handful of snaps. The D didn’t change much and Thomas and their starting OL played the whole game. Of course, you can question how much game planning went into it but he wasn’t facing backups last year.

Actually I'm a fan of Grier and Newton also.  Count Rivera and Hurn-dog in there as well.
