For the most part one income households (especially the older ones), interest rates much higher than now, only later in life got to benefit for the tech boom.

Millennials... I have student loan debt.  Wahhhhhh.  Get over it.  Gen X had/has student loans too.  You don't hear us complaining about it ruing our lives and living in our parents basements.

Listen to yourselves....student freaking loans being the bain of your existence!  Student freaking loans!!!!! What's remaining of the Greatest Generation left on this earth (that fought the Nazis and Japanese) must be in utter disbelief of your trivial plight.

This post is Aids, Cancer and just about all things bad amalgamated into one shitastic post. Good job.

You silly ass pansy millennials who keep crying after every bad play with the phrase “game over” have got to get your head out of your rear end and stop being such Nancy’s.  There is a reason that you cannot hold a damn job for more than 5 years without either being fired or quitting because you don’t understand the long term value in a pension plan.  You constantly bitch about Butler and Reid, the two very players who secured this win for us.  You are the generation who uses nipple cream because Breast feeding is too painful. You are the ones who think a chin strap is a beard.  You think a keyboard rather than a barbell makes you tough.

Guess what...the game wasn’t fuging over in the second quarter when we lost the ball.  We won this game despite your sissy ass whining.  Do us all a favor and leave this forum and become a Patriots fan.  You know you want to.  After all, it’s the hip thing to do.  Keep fuging Pounding!

Folks should know by now: it’s not over til’ it’s over:

You’re mocking those with crippling college debt all the while slurping off WWII veterans lol. You’re a joke not to be taken seriously.

You're a freaking joke.  Pell grants, athletic scholarships or lord forbid an actual academic scholarship...heard of them?  How about going to a tech school for the first two years and transferring?  How about joining the national guard or active military?  What's a joke are your lame excuses for you own misery. Dude, I've paid my way through school with a Master's degree.  You are barking up the WRONG tree.  I paid my OWN way through school!  I had/have loans and yes I have less than ONE year left on the very last one.  You will get ZERO sympathy from me on student loans.

Good for you, there are literally tens of thousands of us who are in the pocket of schools for perhaps the remainder of their youth. Just because you picked yourself up by the bootstraps I’m supposed to give a poo?

Yup. and there you have it folks!  I have it quoted so he can't change it.  Instead of choosing the smartest route though school, this person and tens of thousands of other that choose the name brand/athletic program/party route burdened with student loans wants us to feels sorry for them.  Sorry dude, I chose the easiest way I knew how to navigate college and still wish I could have done a few things differently. Am I going to blame an entire generation for that?  No, that's totally irresponsible.  Millennials have no conscience in that regard though.  It's always someone else's fault.   For the "selfie" generation, you have no problem looking in your camera for a picture, but sure as hell have a problem with looking in a mirror for self reflection.

You guys remember when millenials all took toxic loans for homes that they couldnt afford in 2006-2008, and led the economy to crash like the hindenburg?

Oh wait...

That's a whole different ball of wax.   That was solely due to high-risk loans that the government turned a blind eye to.  Most of the defaults were on loans that had no business being issued in the first place.  High risk loans burned a lot of people and the originators just move those hot potatoes along to others companies willing to take on those toxic mortgages.  Loans like 0% down with well over the 36% debt-to-income ratio along with income that they knew couldn't support it.   I'll say it, most of it was Gen X, BUT also most of it was low income families too.  That's not a shot at low income families...had the mortgage companies denied the loans as they ought to have, then the whole crises could have been avoided.  There was a push to get low income families out of multi-unit housing and into single family housing.  You know the old saying about the road lined with good intentions.....
