It’s so different the way quarterbacks are treated.

with Cam when he had a hard time after MVP,.. Cam this, Cam not, Cam aberration, Cam hate.

Holmes— the team let him down, the team gave no protection, the team sucks, the team the team the team, Holmes is a God failed by his team.

its just crazy how much the media controls the trolls.

The media creates their narrative early on and nothing can get them off of it.they created their Cam narrative before he was ever even drafted. Same thing with Luck. Cam was selfish, elite athlete, but limited QB while Luck was the annointed one. The media response to the surprise early retirement would have been MUCH if it had been Cam instead of Luck.

The entire landscape of the NFL is in massive flux this season. Bunch of starting QBs are out, Colts beat the Chiefs early in the season, Mahomes is hobbled.

The only constant seems to be the Patriots continuing to blitz the league.

I really hope after all these backup QBs playing as well as they are that it proves you DONT need a “franchise QB” that costs north of hundred million to win.. I hope the QB contract bubble bursts and burst soon

He didn't get hurt running the ball his ankle was stepped on by one of his offensive linemen.

Mahomes hurt his ankle earlier in the season and has not been 100% since. The big 300+ lb Olinemen did not help the situation at all though.

His ankle got stepped on at the end of the game.  They were losing when it happened.

He had sprained it well prior to that.

In fact, the fact that it was heavily taped after the sprain probably helped him when the 350lb'er stomped on it.

Any reports on whether or not he is in a boot?

How long until he is fully 100% and can play again?

It will be interesting to see what the media spin is going to be when Luck returns as a FA after bailing on the Colts.

Even if that is the case, they only would until he is 32.

He wouldn't be accruing years if he's sitting out. However many years are currently left on his contract, that's how many would be left if he decided to later return. Retiring basically just presses the pause button in your current contract.

I don't believe that is correct. I believe they only have any say until after the term of the contract is up, not indefinitely.

Maybe so. That's the way I understand it but I've never really looked into it specifically since it's never really been a relevant rule concerning the Panthers.
