Saints are gonna win the NFC South its seriously over

Recommended Posts

Sean Payton is very proficient at scheming against certain players. He’s doing a good job of working with what he’s got offensively. They’re stacking a lot of 12 personnel and unbalanced looks against 52. Mack has been very quiet today.

As to the Saints, yeah they're good. We knew that.

We expected (hoped) that there would be some drop off because of Brees being hurt. There really hasn't been.

Honestly to me, this just puts us back to where we were at the start of the season, which was thinking that the Saints were going to be tough to beat.

Doesn't really make me feel any better or worse than I already did.

Imagine the response here if Saints end up 2-0 in the big game while we sit at 0-2.  I worry about the mental state of some users here.

We haven't even gotten close to being close to talking playoffs for any team. It's really early. Also could you imagine saints fans if we sweep them this year after cruising all year?

Lol. Bunch of nancies on this thread. Green Bay, Minnesota, and NOLA are complete teams. The Bears have no offense, the Eagle and Cowboys are average, the Seahawks havent played anyone yet same with SF and the Rams arent what they were the past 2 years. Ill take our chances against anyone if Cam is healthy going into the second half of the year

Cam lmao. Dude he’s done, 2015 called and it’s not coming back

Dude we have a ton of talent. Way more than the Saints. Tampa and ATL has more than us. Scheme and execution is different though.

I'm not quite ready to crown Burns and Jackson as "special" like you are. They certainly have a ton of potential and I'm certainly hopeful.

Your viewpoints seem to have a heavy Panthers tint to them. Understandable and commendable, but you're certainly taking a homer view.

Pretty much. Keary Colbert looked special once too.

Jackson is still speedy and good in coverage, but we've also learned this year that he can't tackle for sh-t. Smart teams will run at him or throw short and count on their receiver to run over him.

Burns? Good so far. Only concern is he seems prone to a lot of little nicks and bruises. As long as they don't turn into big nicks and bruises, that's manageable.

Maybe. I don't know. He's never seemed comfortable in the Bears' offense.

Maybe Nagy is just another JAG who looks brilliant in Andy Reid's offense?

That's a very real possibility.

Scheme fit could be a factor too. I'd expect anything from a Reid guy to be heavily WCO based. Maybe Trubisky isn't well suited for that.

Obviously you haven't watched them. Burns is a special player who will only get better. Same for Jackson.

Sigh.

I remember my first beer.

You're being a homer, man. It's cool, but you are. Everyone else on elite teams are nothing special but half our roster is just amazing, right?

I should add, for the record, that Matt Nagy is one of the reasons I'm skeptical of Eric Bienemy as a head coach.

I'm skeptical of any and everything offensive under Reid. The guy always fields great offenses. You're not winning a Super Bowl, but you'll be at or bear the top of the league in offense every regular season.
