They may actually beat us. I definitely acknowledge it's a very real possibility.

Even so, no way in hell am I willing to concede defeat ahead of time.

Hell, the Bucs have sucked the last several years....but the Bucs have beat them in each of the last 4 years.

Divisional games are totally different animal.

The same is sadly true for us, though.

The Falcons look like horse sh-t, but how will they look against us?

He's only in what, his second year though?

Not a fan of what I see so far, but it might be too early to completely give up on him.

Ryan Pace, though? Yeah, if I were a Bear fan I might be starting to lose faith. And to be fair, part of that is based in what he did to get Trubisky.

When you throw 54 times vs. only 7 runs though, you're not giving your QB or your OL a fair shot. That's just terrible play calling and game management. I don't care if you have Joe Montana or Tom Brady at QB.

Montana ran a pure WCO but I'm not sure even he threw that much.

(would certainly bet against it during the years they had Roger Craig)

You might have to go back to the run and shoot to get anything close to that kind of disparity.

Just awful. I mean, I could get it if there were some flukish things that led to them being down big from early on, but the game was largely competitive until late. There was no need to throw 54 times vs. only 7 rush attempts, especially when your OL was obviously struggling to pass protect and your overall passing attack was largely ineffective. I mean, was there any reason to continue being so pass happy? I would argue that there quite obviously was not.

This might be one of those years where we have 11-5 teams missing the playoffs and a 12-4 wild card has to go on the road and play a 9-7 or 10-6 NFC East champion

Which will mean another year of people crying about changing the playoff system.

(I don't really care to change it, stuff happens)

It's possible. We'll just have to see how it all works out. A key injury or two can derail just about any team's season.

No argument.

I like the 4 division champs plus 2 WCs. The only thing I would change is to do the seedings based solely on records and re-seed each round. But, that's just me and I'm not super passionate about it.

My response to that is pretty much always "You want to get into the playoffs? Win your games."

Hell, we were a beneficiary of that once. Don't recall any of us complaining.

Yeah I think that's what we're in for. But we can beat the nfc east team

I'm not talking about getting in, I'm specifically talking about how the playoff teams are seeded in the playoffs.
