Ya know, I’m not as scared of our upcoming scheduled as I was and think 11-5 is very realistic.

On paper one would look at our schedule and think it looks absolutely brutal, but re thinking things over, I’m just not as frightened by it as I once was.

So first the Falcons, easy sweep. That team has no heart this year that I don’t even see them caring enough to play spoiler for us. They just don’t care this year. That’s 2 easy wins there.

The Seahawks have given us headaches in the past but they just don’t scare me this year and we have beat them in the past when they were way better. If you need something else to ease your mind, they literally only beat the 0-7 Bengals by 1 pt and that was even at the Clink. Another win.

Packers- Yea that’s going to be a loss for us. It’s ok though, it’s Lambeu field in the dead middle of winter with Aaron Rodgers playing lights out. The Pats would even likely lose that game. So that’s a loss and a pretty sure one. Oh well.

Saints- We get the Saints at the tail end of winter in December outdoor in the elements, they will NOT I repeat NOT sweep us this year. Split, so that’s another win.

Titans and Colts- No long explanation here, we are simply just a better team than either of them, it’s just that simple. Two more wins.

Redskins- lol come on, need I say more? Another win.

Annnd finally San Fran- I’m very undecided on this game, but screw it. Let’s be conservative and say we will lose, that puts us at 11-5 this season with our three remaining lossses being San Fran, Saints and Packers.

I count 8 wins we should have if we just do what we're supposed to.

Not included are: (2 losses) 2x NOLA, GB, SF, SEA, INDY

Of those, only 1 NOLA and SEA are home games.  If we can hold serve at home that's 10 wins.

Any thing else would be tough.  The Colts would be most likely, followed by SF, NOLA, then GB at Lambeau.(IMO)

I try not to anticipate wins and losses. It's not a very realistic approach considering the relative parity and ever-changing nature of the league. So many moving parts.

I like this team, but injuries, luck, officiating, random inexplicable (hot and cold) performances all play a part.

I just enjoy (or not) a week at a time. Here's to beating San Fran on Sunday.

Lost me there. While it would be great, we haven't swept them much. Like three times in 24 years. Even when we went 15-1 they avoided the sweep in a garbage game.

You could tell they REALLY wanted to end our undefeated streak badly and that was their super bowl, they had fire and drive that season. I watched them play some this season and this team is just mentally done. They look like how we looked the first two games

Meh they also grabbed one in 2008 when we went 12-4 and in 2003 when we went 11-5  (and went to the superbowl) and 1996 when we went 12-4.

NFC South has always beaten each other up.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
